Welcome to Espresso Marcello USA.

My great passion for coffee began when I was a little boy. My „merenda“ - the traditional Italian snack in the afternoon consisted of espresso mixed with sugar spread on a slice of bread. At that time, my other passion – Nutella – was still very expensive and therefore a luxury . Coffee was then like bread is today - an essential element in Italy.

In the following years, coffee played an important role in my working life. With the beginning of my self-employment in Berlin, the dream evolved to set up my own coffee roastery.

Finally in 2006, I was ready for the next step: In a little coffee roastery situated in the north of Italy my very own coffee blend was created. But what exactly does make my blend so unique? It is this very carefully chosen selection of coffee beans from Uganda, India and Vietnam as well as 35% coffee Arabica from Colombia, Santos Velodulce and Nicaragua that blend into a dark cream with a delicate, but at the same time remarkably hearty flavor.

Even though I have not been able to achieve the dream of my own coffee roastery yet, I created my own coffee flavor – unique in its taste called
Espresso Marcello
